Current situation (2025) may involve complex VERA/VSIP/DRP and other considerations. Many government (esp DoD) employees may have military retirement and/or VA Disability as long term income sources to be considered. Others may be eligible to "buy back" military service to support FERS retirement years. A worthy and unique topic.
