Tax Preperation Checklist

A checklist of tax-related items that may have happened over the year that the individual needs to make sure is reported to their accountant. As an example, the QCD amount is not reported on the 1099, many taxpayers do not realize they need to provide this information to their accountant.

Along with this checklist, I would add deadlines:

Deadline to pay taxes, deadline to file for an extension, extension filing deadline, IRA contribution deadline, SEP IRA contribution deadline, S-Corp filing deadline... etc.
